OUR MISSION:

As the blended Catholic Community of Saint Maria Goretti, we are sustained by word and sacrament as we strive to extend Christ’s Ministry in our area.  We maintain a faithful tradition of study, prayer and service and seek to share our faith with all.

OUR HISTORY:

The Parish of St. Maria Goretti was established in 1967.  For the first 10 years of its existence all parish life was conducted at St. Joseph's Oblate Seminary.  In 1975 our rectory was purchased adjacent to ten acres of land previously obtained by our parish.  In 1977 our new church and chapel were dedicated.  In 1979 our Parish Office was constructed, followed in 1987 by the dedication of our fully equipped Family Center.  In commemoration of the Centennial Anniversary of Saint Maria Goretti, our Grotto was dedicated as a Parish Shrine on July 6, 2002.
